Buy a Print of Julie Dreaming by Berthe Morisot. Berthe Morisot created this masterpiece in 1894 as an oil on canvas. The subject, Julie, was Morisot’s daughter whom she painted extensively thus by documenting her daughter’s growth. Sadly, Berthe Morisot died one year after this painting was created. Morisot’s died of pneumonia after tending to her daughter whilst she suffered from the same deadly condition. Morisot’s work has been referred to as delicate and charming by nature, this is never more apparent than in this pretty print.
