Delicate Tension – Wassily Kandinksy Modern Art Prints. Wassily Kandinsky (1886 – 1944) was the father of abstract art, he was a Russian painter who is credited with painting one of the first recognised purely abstract works. This is one of his wonderful and unique pieces of work, it was created in 1923 and currently resides in Spains The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
