The iconic Balloon Girl is featured in this one-of-a-kind piece of art that was made by our amazing in-house design team, BlueWho Studio, but with a vibrant rainy background. Over the years, several social causes, such as the West Bank barrier, the Syrian refugee crisis, and the 2017 UK election, have been supported by images and adaptations of the iconic Banksy artwork Girl with Balloon.
During the 1990s, Banksy worked as a street artist, political activist, and director in England. His works, which combine dark humour and graffiti and are created using a special stencilling method, have been painted on walls, bridges, and streets all around the world. Massive Attack member 3D served as inspiration for Banksy’s art, which came from the Bristol underground scene. The majority of Banksy’s works, which are impermanent, are displayed on easily accessible surfaces, and many of them are sold again even after being taken down from the wall. Additionally, Banksy’s own organisation, Pest Control, sells the artist’s creations.
